Did you know... That sunshine, although essential for health and well-being, is certainly a hazard for your skin and premature aging. Sun damage of the skin, also known as photo damage, is sometimes hard to detect.

At Weight & Body Solutions our Digital Imaging Equipment will clearly show the damage, hidden underneath the surface of the skin, that the sun has caused throughout the years. This will allow us to define for you, a comprehensive treatment plan to not only treat the damage, but reverse the future signs of aging.

Why do I need to have my skin imaged?

While you don’t have to get your skin imaged, we do strongly recommend it. Our skin is exposed and damaged by environmental and manmade toxins everyday. Our skin imager will be able to catch this damage before it surfaces so that it can be treated or even reversed.

What do the UV and polarized light show?

UV or ultraviolet light shows the extent of skin damage from years of sun exposure, use of tanning beds, results of some skin conditions like rosecea, acne, and hyper-pigmentation.

Will I be able to see what I look like after treatment?

Yes! With our skin imager, we are able to edit your photo and show you the new you, perhaps without wrinkles, or age spots, or even that skin tag that’s been bothering you for the past 10 years.

How long will it take?

Just like a digital camera, we can take your picture with the three different lights, upload, and analyze them in under 5 minutes! Skin damage is accumulated over many years, but the extent of the damage can be seen instantly.

What will it tell me?

Our skin imager will analyze your skin in five separate categories: Pores, wrinkles, sebum, spots, and skin tone. Each of these categories can then be compared to those of your same age group or to images that were previously taken.
